Fix my resume for this job

Upload the resume you already have, paste the posting you are applying to, and get back a version written for that job — summary and every bullet, with the gaps listed honestly rather than papered over.

How it works

  1. Upload the resume you already have PDF, Word, plain text or Markdown. It is read in your browser — the file itself never leaves your device, only the text it contains, and only when you press the button.
  2. Paste the job posting The whole thing: responsibilities, requirements, the preamble nobody reads. The more of it there is, the more there is to match against, and the vocabulary in the body of a posting matters as much as the bullet list at the end.
  3. Read what changed, then take it or leave it Your summary and every bullet rewritten against that posting, with the match score recalculated and the requirements you do not meet listed rather than papered over. Open it in the builder to edit, or export a PDF.

What it will and will not do

Why tailoring a resume per job is worth the ten minutes

Most applications are read twice: once by software looking for the words in the posting, and once by a person deciding whether to spend four more minutes on you. One generic resume is tuned for neither. It uses your vocabulary rather than the employer’s, and it leads with whatever you did most recently rather than whatever this job is about.

Tailoring is not rewriting your history. It is choosing which true things to put first, and saying them in the words the person reading has in their head. That is why a tailored version of an honest resume beats a generic version of the same resume, and why it takes minutes rather than an afternoon.

Common questions

Is it free?
Yes. You can upload a resume, paste a posting and read the whole rewrite without paying. An account is needed to export, because that is what ties a document to you.
Does my resume get stored or used to train anything?
The file is parsed in your browser and never uploaded. The text goes to the configured AI provider to produce the rewrite, and the resulting document is saved to your account only if you choose to keep it. It is not used to train a model.
Will the rewritten resume still pass an ATS?
That is the point of it. Every template here exports as real, selectable text in a single readable order, with no tables or text boxes for a parser to lose — and the rewrite works within that, so the match score and the parseability move together.
What if it writes something that is not true?
Tell it so by editing the line; nothing is saved until you keep it. The rewrite is constrained to the facts in your resume and it marks the gaps rather than filling them, but you are the one who knows what you did, and the last read is yours.
How long does a job description need to be?
About eighty characters is the minimum, which is roughly two lines. A job title on its own gives nothing to match against; the real value comes from the responsibilities and requirements in the body.
Can I use it for more than one job?
That is the intended use. Keep one honest master resume, and run it against each posting you apply to — the output is a new version each time, and your original is untouched.
